Unplugged The Grill Pan First
Before cooking, make sure your grill is disconnected from the electrical supply. This is a straightforward procedure that shouldn’t be overlooked. Do not put your electric grills, panini, or waffle maker in water or run it under running water while the cord is connected!
The danger of electric shock is why it’s essential to be careful when cleaning your grill. If you use metal scrubbing pads or wire brushes, they could come into contact with exposed wiring and cause a short circuit that will ruin the part being cleaned and blow out any fuses in sight! Don’t do this- instead, find safe ways like nylon brush cleaners for removing stuck-on food residue without risking damage from touching live parts on an electrical surface too much.

It also helps to know if the dip-tray is dishwasher safe. If it’s dishwasher safe, that’s fantastic; just double check to ensure there aren’t any special instructions in the manual and ensure it’s firmly secured to avoid it coming loose.
Fill a basin with warm soapy water and leave it to soak for 20 minutes if you’re doing it by hand. After the grease has been loosened, give it a gentle wash with a cloth.
Place your towel in a tub or sink filled with cold water.Gently go over the surface of this grill to drain off any excess moisture that may have gathered on top using a towel or paper towels until you can see clear through to where there was once an attractive shine before.
